Minutes of the January 12, 2012

Reorganization Meeting

The reorganization meeting of the Board of Health was called to order at 6:30 P.M.

President Randy Moscaritolo announced that the meeting was being held in conformance with the Open Public Meeting Act. ��The Sunshine law was read.

On Roll Call the following members responded as follows:

Health Officer Gapas and REHS Cardenas were in attendance.� Council Liaison Klinder arrived at 6:31 P.M.

The Board President recognized the newly reappointed Board Members which were Jeanine Pentz and Adina Lee.

Nomination was made by Commissioner Forman and seconded by Vice President Gabriel that Randy Moscaritolo be re-elected as President.� Motion carried on roll call as follows:

Next was the recognition of the Board Members by Board President Moscaritolo.

President Moscaritolo formally approved the appointment of Dr. Forman, as Chairperson, and Commissioners Lamoreaux and Lee to the Finance Committee.� All in favor.

A motion was made by President Moscaritolo to reappoint Marconi Gapas as Health Officer.� ��All in favor.

President Moscaritolo made a motion to appoint Elmer Cardenas as Registered Environmental Health Specialist and Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics.� All in favor.

A motion was made by President Moscaritolo to reappoint Karen Kizelevich as Secretary and Registrar.� All in favor.

The next motion made by President Moscaritolo was to reappoint Dr. Agresti as the Board Physician.� All in favor.

President Moscaritolo made a motion to reappoint Holy Redeemer VNHS as the Child Health Care Clinic.� All in favor.

A motion was made by President Moscaritolo to designate the Cranford Chronicle, The Suburban News and The Star Ledger to publicize the official business of the Board of Health.� All in favor.

A motion was then made by Commissioner Pentz and seconded by Commissioner Gabriel to adjourn the reorganization meeting at 6:38 p.m.
