Minutes of the March 17, 2005

The regular meeting of the Board of Health was called to order at 7:07pm. by President DeSciscio who announced that the meeting was being held in conformance with the Open Public Meeting Act.� Sunshine law was read.

On roll call the following members responded as follows:

Health Officer Ferraioli, Registered Environmental Health Specialist Buttell were present for this evenings meeting.�� Liaison Galasso was absent.

A motion was made by Commissioner S. Kotch and seconded by Commissioner Coraggio to accept the previous minutes.� All in favor.

The monthly reports were discussed, approved and carried on motion by Commissioner S. Kotch and seconded by Commissioner Gabriel.� All in favor.

The monthly income and expenses for February 2005: Income-$6,395.42 and Expenses-$512.62.

A motion was then made by Commissioner Gabriel and seconded by Commissioner Coraggio to approve the finance report and pay the current bills.� Motion carried on roll call as follows:

Correspondence:��

REHS Buttell stated that the Board received a letter from the Department of Economic Development in regards to the Seniors Citizen Chronic Illness Program which received primarily approval of $2,400.00.

Old Business:

REHS Buttell stated that the Board received a 1995 Ford Taurus from the County.

New Business:

There was a discussion regarding the Local Health Evaluation Report and the Board of Health Registration.� Health Officer Ferraioli stated that the forms must complete by April 4, 2005 and returned to the Health Office.

Board Secretary Hrynkiewicz stated that the Borough CFO Dianne Marus approached her about a administrative position with the Handy Man Grant. The Board does not want this done during regular work hours. She will need to follow up with Councilman Corvelli to get all the specifics for the position.

Health Officer Ferraioli stated that April 4-10, 2005 is National Health Week and the Proclamation will be read at the council meeting on March 23, 2005.� President DeSciscio would like the Board members to attend.

Commissioners Report:��

Commissioner S. Kotch stated that January�s minutes along with the notice to retail food establishments were posted on the web site.

Liaisons Report:

President DeSciscio then opened the meeting to the public at 7:26p.m., hearing none closed the meeting at 7:26p.m.�

A motion was then made by Commissioner Coraggio and seconded by Commissioner Condo to adjourn the meeting at 7:26p.m.

Next scheduled meeting will be April 21, 2005 at: 7:00p.m.
