The Boy Scouts of America is a value-based program which offers boys an environment in which everyone can feel secure both physically and emotionally. Troop 83 was started in September 2003 with the Webelo Scouts that graduated from Cub Scout Pack 83. The leaders in Troop 83 also came from Pack 83 with years of experience. A goal of the Boy Scouts of America is to help boys develop into honorable men. Every Scouting activity moves boys towards three basic aims: Character Development, Citizenship Training and Mental and Physical Fitness.

Troop Meetings are held every Thursday at 7pm at the Veterans Center, 33 South 21^st Street, Kenilworth NJ 07033.
